To the very left of the photograph is a building with a bell in a small tower, like a chimney, on the roof. This is the current Fulbourn pre-school, and there still remains the base of the structure that holds the bell, but nothing above that. | |||
Behind that, with a picket fence, is a house of yellow brick, with stripes of red brick courses. Today this is 16 School Lane, and it looks unchanged from the photograph. It has a date stone on the gable that says 1872. | |||

This is a postcard showing School Lane, Fulbourn. The postcard is unused and undated, and does not state the location or the vendor.
It seems the date of the picture predates that of a postcard of a similar scene that was posted in 1918, but that might be an incorrect assumption.
To the very left of the photograph is a building with a bell in a small tower, like a chimney, on the roof. This is the current Fulbourn pre-school, and there still remains the base of the structure that holds the bell, but nothing above that.
