	The postcard shows a thatched house (that no longer exists) at the junction of School Lane (on the right, formerly known at Wrights Lane) and Ludlow lane on the left. Further down School lane can be seen Hall Farm House (where the Wright family lived for many generations, hence the original name of the road). Further down Ludlow lane can be seen the Malting Buildings of Ludlows. The identities of the four boys is unknown. The small triangle of grass has been replaced with tarmac to widen the junction. On the right the malting buildings on Ludlow lane look the same for the most part, although the thatch has been replaced by a corrugated iron roof. On the left, down school lane, the end of Hall Farm looks the same, but in 2022 we can see the windows of the church, whereas in ~1912 these were obscured by trees. 			The postcard was posted on the 23rd February 1912 at Fulbourn, using a George V half-penny green stamp consistent with 1912. So the photograph pre-dates 1912.

			It was addressed to "Mr A. Durant. 9 Palamiers Road, Leyton N.E."

			"Dr. Arch. There is little to tell at the present; am enjoying myself. I went hare-coursing yesterday. Yrs. affect. Ren"

			The rear of the postcard has printed "Knights Stores". Assuming the postcard was sold in the village of Fulbourn, then this is possibly the shop that occupied what is now 1 Manor Walk at the top end of (what is now) the High Street.
